Dave Weckl Band: Live ( & very plugged in)

The reason I think the Montplier boot is so great is because an electric guitarist has been added to Weckl's usual horn/keys front line. It is not Mike Stern. Weckl is announcing who's in the band as the last song fades on the second CD and I can't discern a single name he says. Regardless, great band, great tunes. I heard Live & Very Plugged In first and loved it, then I received the Montplier bootleg six weeks afterwards and was bowled over by the sheer power of the music. Even after Live & Very Plugged In Dave's playing at Montplier staggered me. Seven nameless tunes on CD 1 (54 mins) and four nameless tunes (one an eight minute drum solo) on CD 2 (41 mins).

Good news bad news though, Louie, Donu and Fuse. The bad news first: I'm happy to trade but my new job has such hours I'm nowhere near a post office when it's open. I have to buy stamps at the grocery store! The good news is I got the bootleg from an active HOD member and he'll be happy to trade (if I know him!)

Hi Five Eight , no you don't need post anymore for trade now , there is a Fantastic web site for sharing bootleg : http://www.sharingthegroove.org/msgboard/ , you just need a Torrent software ( azureus is the best : http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ ) then you convert the .wav file of you cd to .flac ( http://flac.sourceforge.net/ ) that's all ! and it's all free [img]wink.gif[/img] , only problem is if you have a 56 K modem connection but if you have cable or DSL connection Many person can have you bootlegs in less then 24 hours [img]wink.gif[/img]
